About IntegralDD

Make local risk clear.Help capital move responsibly.

IntegralDD gives institutional investors a clearer view of the conditions around an asset, across governance, conflict, climate and resources, so they can make informed decisions in African frontier markets.

Built around a gap we saw firsthand.

We kept meeting the same gap from opposite sides. One of us builds risk indices and has seen how much a national score can hide about a single district. The other sits on investment decisions and has seen how rarely that local picture reaches the people who sign off.

Both point to the same problem: a national rating flattens the local conditions that actually shape an investment. IntegralDD is our attempt to close that gap with a local read of risk that is clear about what it knows and what it doesn't, built for the moment a decision is made.

The people behind IntegralDD

Two founders, one from each side of the gap.

Builds the risk read

Risk index development

Developed a global investment screening risk index covering more than 200 economies at a Development Finance Institution.

At IntegralDD

Brings the view from inside a risk index: how much a national score can hide about a single district, and how to build a risk assessment tool at local level that gives intuitive scores.

Sits on the investment decision

Investment management

An investment management lead at a listed energy infrastructure platform.

At IntegralDD

Brings the view from the decision itself: what reaches the people who sign off, and what a local read has to look like to be used at that moment.

Our principles

  1. Enable responsible investment

We produce the conditions and monitoring triggers that let a deal go ahead responsibly, not red flags that rule a place out. Each one names what has to hold and what to watch for.

  2. Build from local evidence

Where no reliable feed exists, we construct the data from the ground up rather than licensing a global dataset that stops at the border. Where the evidence is thin, the read says so.

  3. Read risks together

Governance, conflict, climate and resources shape one another, so we assess them side by side. Risk doesn't arrive one dimension at a time.

A clearer view starts with a conversation.
